27.oktobrī picērijā “Zebra” notika biedrības „Ritineitis” organizētā „Demokrātijas kafejnīca”, kas tika rīkota sadarbībā ar Dienvidlatgales NVO atbalsta centru, Balvu novada pašvaldību un Balvu pilsētas pārvaldi. Pie galdiņiem, klātesot Balvu novada pašvaldība priekšsēdētājam Sergejam Maksimovam, deputātiem, dažādu iestāžu un biedrību vadītājiem, bija iespēja satikt gan līdzīgi, gan citādi domājošos savu un kaimiņu apkaimju iedzīvotājus. Saturīgās sarunās, moderatoru vadībā, tika apspriestas dažādas Ziemeļlatgalē aktuālas tēmas, norisinājās diskusijas, viedokļu apmaiņa. Diskusijas notika trijās darba grupas- „Brīvprātīgais darbs”, „Es un demokrātija” un „Valoda”. Deputāte Aija Mežale iepazīstināja dalībniekus ar Līdzdalības budžetu, kā pilsoniskā aktīvisma formu un to, ko tas nozīmē pašvaldībām un kādas ir iespējas nevalstiskā sektora pārstāvjiem līdzdarboties ar savām iniciatīvām un idejām savas kopienas attīstībā. Ar labās prakses piemēriem brīvprātīgajā darbā, tai skaitā starptautiskiem, dalījās biedrības „Raibais kaķis” vadītājs un darba grupas moderators Sergejs Andrejevs, kas atzina, ka brīvprātīgais ir pievienotā vērtība NVO darbībā. Ar aktualitātēm un iespējām brīvprātīgajā darbā Balvu novadā iepazīstināja biedrības „Kalmārs” vadītāja Gunita Mincāne un Balvu Bērnu un jauniešu centra vadītāja Agnese Puļča, kas ir organizācijas kuras darbojas brīvprātīgā darba jomā uzņemot pie sevis brīvprātīgos, kā arī organizējot ikdienas brīvprātīgo darbu Balvu novadā. Šobrīd aktīvs ir Erasmus+ projekts “Be the opportunity”, Balvu novadā brīvprātīgo darbu veic jaunieši no Vācijas Erik un Charlote. Jaunieši organizē aktivitātes Balvos, Rugājos, Viļakā un Semenovā, dažāda vecuma jauniešiem, ņemot vērā jauniešu vecumu un intereses. Organizē starpkultūru apmaiņas pasākumus. Kopīgi tīklojot, plašas diskusijas izraisīja jautājums par salīdzinoši jauno pilsoniskā aktīvisma instrumentu- Iedzīvotāju Padomi. Pasākuma laikā vairākas NVO– „Raibais kaķis”, „Kalmārs”, „Ritineitis”, „Ziemeļlatgales partnerība” dalījās labās prakses piemēros par to, kas ir iekšējais motivators iesaistīties pilsonisko aktivitāšu organizēšanā, projektu rakstīšanā, kā arī pastāstīja, kā iesaistīt katru savas kopienas iedzīvotāju iesaistīties šajos pasākumos. Pasākumā notika kontaktu dibināšana un savstarpējo iespēju izzināšana un noslēguma diskusijā radās svarīgākā atziņa par pilsoniski aktīvā cilvēka iezīmi- iekšējā vēlme padarīt dzīvi savā kopienā labāku un spējas atrast kopīgu valodu ar līdzcilvēkiem un vietējās varas pārstāvjiem. Tikai kopīgiem spēkiem un sadarbībā tas ir iespējams! Noslēgumā katrs dalībnieks nodefinēja 2024.gada personisko apņemšanos: būt pilsoniski aktīvam savas kopienas dzīvē! Informatīvā kampaņa Rugājos
Informatīvā kampaņa Rugājos 30.septembrī, projekta „Iepazīsti sevi Ziemeļlatgalē” ietvaros, norisinājās informatīvā kampaņa „Demokrātija un kultūra”. Kampaņa vērsta uz novada lielāko apdzīvoto vietu (ciemu) un to apkaimju iedzīvotāju aktivizēšanu un informēšanu un īstenota informatīvās telts formātā, piedāvājot gan informatīvus materiālus, gan sarunas par demokrātijas tematiku, tostarp izspēlējot dažādas spēles ar iespēju saņemt veicināšanas balvas. Informatīvajās kampaņā piedalījās 37 dalībnieki. Uz sarunām par demokrātijas tematiku aicināja Balvu pensionāru biedrības vadītāja un Ziemeļlatgales laikraksta „Vaduguns” žurnāliste Zinaida Logina un biedrības „Ritineitis” vadītāja Maruta Castrova.Iepazīstoties ar pasākuma dalībniekiem, tika izmantota spēle “Vērtību ABC”, katram dalībniekam tika dota iespēja izvēlēties kādu no vērtību kārtīm, lai turpinātu dalīties, ko katrs saprot ar šo vērtību, kā tā darbojas ikdienā, cik daudz katrs izmanto šo vērtību ikdienā, kā to izmanto. Kā galvenie temati, par ko labprāt diskutēja dalībnieki, bija par demokrātiju. Pārdomu rezultātā dalībnieki uzsvēra, ka demokrātiju saredz godīgās un regulārās vēlēšanās, kur ir iesaistījušās dažādas partijas, un pilsoņiem ir iespēja mijiedarboties ar šiem vēlētiem pārstāvjiem regulāri. Aktivitātes deva iespēju dzirdēt vispārējo noskaņu, kas vērsta uz pilsoņu līdzdalību gan konkrētā pasākumā, gan savas dzīvesvietas/ novada dzīvē. Tās bija brīvas sarunas par pasākuma dalībnieku iesaisti NVO sektorā un tā piedāvātajās aktivitātēs, par iedzīvotāju personīgajām. Dalībnieki atzina, ka sāk saskatīt, ka šis ir veids, kā var īstenot savu ideju, tikšanās ietvars deva impulsu jaunu ideju plānošanai, Pasākuma atmosfēra, izvēlētās informēšanas metodes un vietējās publikas iesaiste, ir paplašinājušas dalībnieku redzesloku par viņu iespējām ietekmēt politisko dienas kārtību savā novadā; iedvesmojušas paskatīties personīgāk uz katra iesaisti jaunu ideju iniciēšanā un īstenošanā; likušas iedziļināties personīgajās un kolektīvajās vērtībās, kas turpmāk varētu attīstīt sadarbību kopīgas idejas īstenošanai.
